Perfectpaw is a pest to the entirety of Riverclan, a bully to his sister, and a little ball of destruction to the grumpy medicine cat Frostface, but when things start to go horribly wrong for the little nuisance and he is exiled, could there be a chance for his behavior to improve?
Tansypaw has been subject to her brother's bullying for her entire life, but when he faces the consequences of his actions and is exiled, she's not sure how to feel. Should she let her empathy get the better of her, or should she celebrate like everyone else in the clan?
Moonpaw is being plagued by a single vision from Starclan. She knows what they want her to do, but should she really abandon all her morals and betray her clan, her friends, and her family at the whim of Starclan's games and manipulation?
Houndpaw dreams of being accepted by all the clans of the forest, but Windclan fears that if word got out about their dog clanmate, the years of peace the clans have enjoyed may be over. So much so that a divide in Windclan has begun to deepen. Houndpaw doesn't want any trouble to arise because of him! What should he do?
Saffronpaw suffers in frustration. He has the solution to solve all these arising problems, but nobody is willing to listen to him, except the Riverclan medicine cat apprentice and Houndpaw. How is he going to get the clans to listen to him?
Monarchpaw wants to eat this bug. The bug is hard to catch though and it flaps away as soon as she gets close. How is she going to eat the bug if she can't catch it?
Brownpaw feels as if everyone is too wrapped up in their own problems within the clans to even notice the growing dangers outside the clans. He needs to bring the clans together to fight the oncoming threat, but everyone discards it as unimportant and harmless. How is he the only one who can see how dangerous this new threat is?
Dovepaw just wants to be noticed. She's been ignored, neglected, and lonely her entire life, and just wants to be important and recognized. But when she her life turns around and she can start anew in a place where she is important, beloved, and understood, she neglects to realize what she has to give up for this new life.
Frostface has had to deal with the brat of Riverclan for long enough. When he gets the chance to throw the little jerk out of the clan, he jumps on it. However when Perfectpaw comes back seemingly a changed cat, Frostface gets the uneasy feeling that there is something darker following right behind the apprentice.
Mintstar doesn't feel worthy of his position. He feel that the only reason his clan respects him is because Frostface was always there catching him before he made a mistake. But there is something darker stirring unease in the clan, and even Frostface is unsure of how to deal with it. Will he make the right decision as leader or will his actions plunge his clan farther into to pool of distrust and fear?
Dave badly wants to help Perfectpaw improve on his behavior, ideology, and empathy, but he's not exactly sure the warrior life is for him. And rumors about him are spilling through Riverclan that seem to stirring up more trouble than it's worth. It seems the only way to help Perfectpaw would be to stay in the clan, but if nobody else trusts him then is it worth it?
Flickershine is doing his best to live up to his father's legacy, but he feels that Skyclan's terribly high expectations for him will crush him to the ground. But when he finds a cat he can truly be himself around, he has to make a choice to help new friend. Should he destroy everything his clan thought that he was or continue to live as the idealized image of his father?
